I started working on the next updates awhile ago, but then life got ridiculously busy with finals and such. So instead, I offer this post. Over on LiveJournal, the "Writer's Block" question asks if you'd rather live near the oceans or the mountains.
My answer? The mountains, most definitely. I mean, just look at these pictures from the trip to Scotland I took over Thanksgiving weekend:
The ocean is pretty, and I wouldn't mind having an ocean near the mountains, but if I had to choose between the oceans and the mountains, the mountains definitely would win. Then again, maybe I'm just slightly biased against the ocean because the sand irritates my skin (though not as bad as it used to), and I'm allergic to sunscreen so I have to be careful not to get burned. I do love the ocean at night, though...

Yeah, if I had all the problems you do with the ocean (irritated skin, allergic to sunscreen) I'd probably pick mountain too.
Since I don't have those problems though--I'd have to say I'm torn. I really really like the beach---but only at night when its quiet and calm and there aren't "naked" people everywhere. haha

I don't think I could decide between the two. I guess it would depend on the mountain and ocean area.
